Annapolis Food Tours

The Annapolis Food Tour will bring together the history, culture, architecture, and cuisine of the historic city in a 3 hour walking tour. We will stop at a variety of local restaurants, many which have been in operation since the 1700's to enjoy cuisine that highlights the house specialties while simultaneously following the culinary history of the area.

• We will go into the kitchen of the Hammond-Harwood House, a grand Anglo-Palladian house built in 1774 by one of the America's first true architects, William Buckland.
• Maryland's State House is the oldest state house in continuous legislative use in the country and the old senate chamber where George Washington resigned his commission from the Continental Army.
• The Maryland Inn, started in 1772, is the first structure in Annapolis designed to be a hotel, and not just a house that could serve interchangeably as a residence, shop or tavern. We won't leave here before having a taste.

The amount of food consumed in total at all taste stops is enough to be considered lunch for the average person. All food costs and historic venues are covered in your tour ticket. A a map of the tour stops so you can find you way back to your favorites. Comfortable walking shoes are suggested.
